The Point Of No Return

BONZIE has released the first single off her upcoming self-produced album, ‘When I Found The Trap Door‘, out October 18th.  This will be her first fully self-produced LP, a project that she has worked on for several years.

The song is entitled “The Point Of No Return” and features handclaps and synthesized percussion amidst angular acoustic guitar chords.  The music video features BONZIE roaming through New York City with Jake Lively.

“The Point Of No Return was a song I wrote right before moving to another city.  It’s a song about letting go and relinquishing care about the little things, but also holding onto the people most essential.”

The song was recorded both in Los Angeles at EastWest Studios and in Chicago, IL at Electrical Audio.  It was mixed by legendary mix engineer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones).
